HELL YES IT’S GIFT GUIDE SEASON!!!
But wait, before you scroll straight to the gift guides…
I want to encourage you to shop small this year. Small businesses need love now more than ever, and now that the holidays are here, it’s the perfect time to buy handmade, vintage, etc.
Gifts for the home are always a good idea, but with Covid around, I’ll definitely be looking to buy friends and family more goodies for the home than usual. With that said, I created a small business gift guide for the decorator!
.01 | This nude bust vase is très chic. I might just buy one for myself!
.02 + .03 I purchased a Woodsmoke Tatine Candle and these matches from House of Brinson last week and can confirm, one of the most divine candles I’ve ever had the pleasure of smelling 😉 They also offer some lovely sets for easy gifting, like this one
.04 | I can’t get enough of Hannah Winters Art landscapes. Her prints are tiny, yet, they make such a big impact (and she is the absolute sweetest person).
.05 | I’ve been eyeing this colorful book set from Everything Duchess. May’s shop has some wonderful vintage finds!
.06 | This Pagoda monogram hand towel is just like the one we have in our bathroom. Everyone loves a good monogrammed towel!
.07 | How cute is this bee vase/planter?!
.08 | StuckOnHue has turned her passion for making classic pillows into making classic stockings. She has handmade each and every one of her designer fabric stockings, but these Althea Citron stockings are personally my fav!
.09 | I think we can all appreciate a cute, simple ring dish
.10 | Laurel Dawn Studio Summer’s End print (she has soo many lovely prints to choose from)
.11 | I am obsessed with the branding of Harlem Candle Co Candles (Black, female owned). I bet they smell as divine as they look!
.12 | This basket is perfect for new Moms (or just Moms in general). Can’t have too much storage! I have one myself and I fit so.much.stuff in it 😉
.13 | Loving how my friend Karama by Hoda styled flowers in this beautiful Moroccan handwoven basket
.14 | Nordic Cube candles are just, so cool
.15 | For the plant lover: a gold Plant Mister
.16 | Embroidery Art by Casie Creative– so classic! I’m really drawn to this pattern.
.17 | Pressed flower art – this would look great displayed on an acrylic stand or hung on a wall in a tiny bathroom
.18 | My friend Christine has some fabulous vintage furniture and decor in her Chairish shop. This green catchall caught my eye
.19 | A handmade brass leaves trinket tray
.20 | I have been eyeing this vintage etched planter from my friend Jess’ Etsy shop (in addition to some of her other gorgeous vintage finds)
And a few more gift ideas for her (included some small businesses here as well)…
.01 | This water bottle is the perfect stocking stuffer!
.02 | You can’t have too many tote bags. Truly. How cute is this one with FLAMINGO’S?!
.03 | Sonix makes the BEST phone accessories. I have the matching phone case and it successfully protects my phone from at least 4-7 drops per day
.04 | OK can we talk about this velvet hot water bottle?! I don’t need one, but I want one (and it comes in two other colors)
.05 | Brook & York jewelry is beautiful and budget friendly. This ring and this ring would make a perfect stack
.06 | Because everyone can use a leather notebook 😉
.07 | …and a pair of classic leather gloves!
.08 | This dutch oven comes in a few colors
.09 | I’ve always wanted one of these rollers. Another great stocking stuffer
.10 | Silk masks….because we all need a good mask eh?
.11 | I never understood the hype around Trudon candles until a few years ago when I sniffed one in-person. I now understand the hype.
.12 | This Smeg kettle is perfect for the friend who loves a good cup of tea
.13 | Mark & Graham offer so many cool items to monogram. This sunglasses case caught my eye (see what I did there)
.14 | A burl jewelry box, classic!
.15 | Another great stocking stuffer – a monogram mug
.16 | These leopard slippers look so damn COZY
.17 | How many candles can one share in a single post?
.18 | Velvet jewelry box. That is all
.19 | Just like a tote bag, you can’t have too many pouches. I really like the pattern on this one. I use a few for makeup, electronic accessories, and for snacks in the car (bc I snack *that* much)
.20 | This scalloped wicker frame is to die for
.21 | A fabric shaver!!!!
.22 | I’ve heard these are the comfiest moccasins
.23 | You can’t go wrong with the gift Classic Burberry
.24 | Another cute Mark & Graham accessory – a trinket dish
