Earlier this year (and coincidentally right before Covid), I started a new job working from home full time. Having always had a job where I’d have to go into work, it took some getting used to, but I really enjoy WFH for so many reasons.
I honestly can’t believe I used to leave my house 5 times a week, now that just seems excessive.
Part of my new-ish daily WFH routine is going for a 5-10 minute walk between meetings and I (try) to walk at least 10k steps a day – most days I aim for ~12-13k. This has been particularly easy to accomplish during the warmer months because I could open our front door and hop outside for a casual stroll.
However…
All good things must come to an end (or in this case, a temporary end) and the warmer months are fading while the colder ones creep in. To keep up with my daily walking routine, I’ve been loading up on cold-weather gear in preparation for the winter so I can continue to try and get in my daily steps.
For my first (and probably only) fashion-related post, I’m sharing all the cold-weather goodies I’ve purchased over the last few weeks or so and a few that are on my wishlist to keep me warm through the upcoming fall/winter season.
