I’ve used and swatched my fair share of creamy, warm white paint colors over the years and have definitely come up with a list of favorites, which I’m excited to share with you today.
White is usually the hardest color for people to pick, but you should always consider your lighting and which way the room is facing. These warm, creamy whites are great for a northern-facing room, as they balance out the harsh, cold light with warmth. But really, a warm white would look lovely in any room, whether it’s facing north, south, east, or west.
How can you tell a white has a warm undertone? Go to encycolorpedia.com and search for a color. It should be a shade of yellow or brown.
Remember to always swatch before committing. I usually swatch two coats on a large white poster board and tape them on the walls so I can observe them and move them around throughout the day.
