Fun fact: I am a creature of habit and actually enjoy having a daily routine, especially now that I’m home 24/7. I wanted to share some of my favorite, go-to items that I use every.single.day and why I just **love** them!!! Because #influencer
I have to write down EVERYTHING, or my thoughts are gone as quickly as a scent in the wind. Seriously, without a planner, my life would be a flaming hot dumpster fire.
This Gilio wasn’t cheap (I bought it secondhand in a Facebook Group) and I’ve been told I’m bat-shit crazy for spending more than $10 on a planner, but for something I use and cherish every day that helps keep my life together…it was worth the price. I see it as an investment in my mental health. And the gold & green leather is *so* on-brand.
“Why not digital?” Well, there’s just something about good ol’ fashion pen n’ paper. Usually, I plan my days/weeks/months in my planner (with Sessa Vee’s A5 inserts), write down lists, track finances, and jot down ideas for projects that I eventually transfer to Evernote (my favorite digital notebook). I may do a future blog post on my planner setup and how I organize everything, TBD on how much of my planner-nerdiness I’m willing to share.
I’m super picky about pens, but last year I found the BEST pen I’ve ever used: the Pentel gold energel (pictured above). It writes so smoothly and I used it every day for about 8 months before I needed to buy a refill.
I almost always have brain fog like you wouldn’t believe and feel lethargic most of the time, etc. However, taking a multivitamin really helps me feel less shitty. I actually feel a difference when I don’t take it! And yes, I’ve seen doctors for these issues 🙂
Throwing on athleisure for the last 8 months was becoming stale and unimaginative. So I thought hey, why not add to the wardrobe that’s already filled with nice things that I could wear at home (but don’t) by adding something else that I don’t need?
Enter: this Madewell sweater. I’ve been wearing it essentially every day for the last week on top of tanks and long sleeve tops. I bought it in the olive-y color too. It’s flattering, chic, and comfy as hell (and currently on sale).
I bought this Nespresso machine earlier this year, and it’s been a surprisingly great substitute for what was once my daily fix of Starbucks. I usually switch up the pods between these and these. I love this little machine so much that I bought one for my parents, and now they’re hooked too.
Renovation Husbands informed me of this magical water bottle; the magic is that the spout makes it really easy for you to drink more water. I will admit, after drinking from this thing for a few months – it is magical. I ordered the 30oz size and I refill it ~4-5x a day. We all know how much better we feel when we drink more water, and I would never be able to drink that much with any other bottles I’ve tried (and I’ve tried quite a few).
The Brooke Linen down pillows I purchased a few months ago for our bedroom refresh are still going strong. I have to fluff them up often, but that seems to be typical with down pillows. I still feel like I’m sleeping in a luxury hotel!
While on the hunt for a lightweight, cordless vacuum, I stumbled upon this vacuum after my friend Deema recommended a similar one from Amazon. I was skeptical about how good it really, ehm, sucked, because it’s so cheap. But after using it for a few months, it actually does a reallllly good freakin’ job. I often use the upholstery attachment because…cat. It’s become my main vacuum and is way better than our more expensive, POS shark vacuum.
I only recently purchased this Grande Lash Serum, but it’s made a significant difference in the length of my lashes. I have blonde lashes so it’s hard to see the real growth until I put on mascara, but it really works.
Side note – I also have a daily skincare routine and rounded up all the products I used on a daily basis in this post.
Have a Happy Halloween weekend!!!
