I have a love/hate relationship with wallpaper. I truly believe it has a place in virtually any room and I love the look of a rich, elegant design once it’s on the wall. It’s one of those “instant room enhancements.” But when it comes to removing it, I’d rather be dragged in a bikini through desert full of nails, and I don’t mean that lightly. I destroyed one of our bathrooms a few months ago while attempting to take down old wallpaper (that wasn’t put on properly in the first place) and long story short – we need a new bathroom because the walls are ruined. Don’t ask, it’s a *sensitive* topic.
Now that I’m finished with the Bridal Suite I’ve been working on for the last few months, I’m so excited I can finally talk (blog) about the details that went into the design!
The decision to include an accent wall for the Bridal Suite was an easy one – it was just about finding the perfect wallpaper. After stumbling across Anthropolgie’s wall murals created by Anewall, I knew immediately that this was the one that fit would Jess’ vision:
Within seconds of sending her this wallpaper she agreed that this was, in fact, the one. We were SO excited. I kept saying “you have no idea how many brides are going to go crazy over this space” (little did we know she would have random people walking in off the street and asking “what is this place for?!”)
In honor of sharing the Bridal Suite, I felt it was only appropriate to share with you my current favorite spaces featuring jaw-dropping wallpaper!

Yes – that’s the same wallpaper that’s in the Bridal Suite. And this may just be one of my favorite photos *of all time.*
UMMMM. This photos is a close second. Brb dialing the leopard wallpaper hotline.
Going back to my “if I had a money tree in my backyard…” dream, marble would be all over my house. The floor would be marble. The door handles would be marble. I would hear guests saying “is that a marble sof..” YOU’RE DAMN RIGHT IT’S A MARBLE SOFA. TAKE A SEAT ON THAT COLD HARD LUXURY JANET (I don’t even know a Janet). But that money tree hasn’t been getting much water, so a gorgeous gold & gray faux marble wall will do. A girl can dream.
About that love for marble and non-existent money tree…
The black & white leopard patterned wallpaper paired with brass hardware AND that dark green mirror is EVERYTHING. WHO DID THIS?! If, hypothetically, this was my bathroom…I would spend all day in here washing my hands. Srs.
Of course I’m throwing black TEXTURED patterns in here. This wallpaper definitely makes a statement!
I’ve been staring at the photo of this croc-textured wallpaper for almost 4 minutes straight and each second that goes by my jaw drops further and further. Could.you.EVEN?!
The detail of this geometric holographic wall mural by Elisabeth Fredricksson makes me feel like I can jump right into the future.
You guys…Etsy. There are just so many talented artists creating remarkable work. Can your brain even CONCEIVE WTF THIS IS?! Magic. Gold magic.
I feel deep in the core of me that in a past life, I was a leaf. It may have something to do with my long and intimate obsession with autumn. Probably why I’m so attracted to this gold leaf wallpaper.
I hope this inspired you to even *consider* using wallpaper or a wall mural in your next home project. And if you decide to do it yourself, I can’t help you with that because I wouldn’t even know where to start. Sorry. But what I can tell you is that all you need is your favorite design, some patience and as always, a glass of vino 😉
Have a fantastic rest of your week!! <3
