Hi friends! In thinking about how I can show up here more often, I had an idea to create a blog series called “Best of Classic Design” where I share roundups of my favorite items + details in traditional design (i.e. lighting, pillows, end tables, sofas, etc.) for those of you who also love classic details. Although I consider my personal style to be a mix of modern & traditional (ahem, grandmillennial) it’s definitely more grounded in traditional.
I’m kicking off this series with classic table lamps, because I’ve saved so many to my Pinterest boards over time and have been itching to share. I use table lamps wherever I can around our house because it’s the perfect object of height that most surfaces (table tops) need to create a well-styled vignette. Oh, and, accent lighting is a bonus too.
Before I dive into the lamp roundup, I want to share some of my favorite swoon-worthy table lamp inspo photos:
I plan on doing a post allll about lamp shades and how to choose the right one for your lamp base, because I think a shade is sometimes overlooked and you don’t have to settle for the one that comes with the lamp. But in the meantime, here are a few of my favorites shades:
I hope you have a lovely week!
