WHERE TO BUY DESIGNER FABRIC & WALLPAPER:
SISTER PARISH (fabric & wallpaper)
ONLINE FABRIC STORE
Some of their designer brands include Kravet, Fabricut, Gaston y Daniela, Groundworks, and more. They also have a TON of great, budget-friendly options (including the brands I mentioned above)
I selected the “Groundworks” filter on their site. Recognize the Kelly Wearstler and Lee Jofa patterns?
(Graffito is Kelly Wearstler and Chalet, Hutch, and Paradox is Lee Jofa)
DECORATOR’S BEST (fabric & wallpaper)
I’ve purchased from here without any issues, but I’ve heard mixed reviews about DB. They sell pretty much any designer brand you can think of (including my all-time fav, Althea). They have thousands and thousands of options.
FABRICGURU.COM (fabric)
Also carries many of the budget-friendly brands I mentioned above. The PP/Y is cheap on most of their fabrics!
WAYFAIR (fabric & wallpaper)
I’m not a fan of Wayfair for a number of reasons but, doesn’t mean I should hold this info back from you LOL. It seems that some designer brands are direct vendors on Wayfair, like Schumacher.
OFS, Decorator’s Best, FG and Wayfair are all viable options, but I would highly encourage you to buy through a small business, which leads me to…
STUCK ON HUE (fabric & wallpaper )
You may know of Hollie from the gorgeous designer pillows she makes, or from that time we collaborated on this sofa pillow blog post (and this pattern-mixing post)! Believe it or not, she can get you to-the-trade fabrics, wallpapers, and trims.
Hollie has actually taught me everything I know about Chintz, and she’s always so patient with the many questions I’m constantly asking her, LOL. Just email her at hollie@stuckonhue.com and let her know what you need along with your shipping address so she can give you a quote.
LYNN CHALK (fabric & wallpaper)
I know Lynn is a go-to small business for many designers and non-designers, as she specializes in custom window treatments, pillows, furniture, bedding, and more.
She carries just about every designer brand you can think of and her window treatments are divine! You can order fabric and wallpaper through her website.
ETSY (fabric & wallpaper)
Most vendors who carry designer fabrics on Etsy specifically make pillows, but others will cut yardage. I searched “Schumacher fabric by the yard” and got a ton of results.
On the topic of non-designer fabric, there’s manyyyy shops on Etsy that sell beautiful hand block fabric that are ideal for making pillows, curtains and lampshades, and the price per yard for these fabrics is ridiculously cheap. You can search “hand block fabric” or check out this shop that has plenty of options.
Some other great shops on Etsy for fabrics include:
FACEBOOK MARKETPLACE
I’m not sure I need to go into great detail about the designer goods I’ve purchased off FB MP, but I do want to say that there’s always designer fabric, wallpaper, custom drapes and more floating around on FB MP (and most of the time, the seller doesn’t even realize it’s an iconic pattern). Don’t forget to check Craigslist and other secondhand sites too!
Since these items are usually small/light, it can’t hurt to ask the seller if they would be willing to ship.
LIVE AUCTIONEERS (mostly fabric)
I’ve noticed a few designer fabrics for sale at auction lately, so definitely keep an eye out for that if you regularly browse Live Auctioneers.
4 yards of Lee Jofa Althea, 20 yards of Kravet, and 5 yards of Cowtan & Tout fabric sold for $425 a few weeks ago.
eBay
eBay is my go-to secondhand site besides FB MP. Sometimes If I’m looking for a specific fabric or wallpaper, I check eBay before the trade because there’s a chance that there may be full rolls of wallpaper or fabric remnants for sale, and I always turn on notifications for specific brands/items I’m looking for.

Hi there! Love your blog – such great info. I actually have a company, Maison CE (www.maisonce.com), that helps people buy trade only fabric and wallpaper items as well – I can send samples too. Would love to help you out in the future!

I love you blog and have learned so much!
I was wondering how the prices of sites like Decorators Best compare to ordering through a decorator?
