I took to Instagram last week to crowdsource budget-friendly cabinetry companies for our fam room built-ins, and the responses did not disappoint! I coincidentally had most of these companies on my list from when I was planning our kitchen renovation that never saw the light of day, so I’m glad to know I was heading in the right direction.
Here’s a list of the budget friendly cabinetry companies that were recommended to me:
- IKEA cabinet boxes and semi-handmade cabinet doors (LOTS of people recommended this). I also had Kokeena and Nieu on my kitchen planning spreadsheet for Ikea door fronts
- Home depot (also lots of responses for them)
- Cabinet Joint
- I actually received a quote for cabinetry for our entire kitchen remodel from them in 2023, which came out to about $16k. I also received a quote for the built-in cabinetry for our fam room which was around $4k. Lots of people recommended them
- Unfinished-kitchen-cabinets.net
- Cliq Studios (also received a kitchen quote from them in 2023 for around $34k)
- Cabinets To Go
- Kraft Made from Lowe’s (when it goes on sale)
- Cabinet Authority
- Jarlin Cabinets
- Quicklock cabinets
- RTA Cabinets
- Barker Door
- Wren kitchens
- Wholesale cabinets
- Try a local wood furniture or Amish furniture store
Note, I haven’t done research on all of these places, just sharing a list of what my audience shared with me, so please do your homework before using any of these brands! Thanks again to everyone who submitted a recommendation!
